About the Role

Walker and Sloan Ltd is seeking a seasoned Senior PR Account Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be based in Gloucestershire and will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.

Job Profile

The Senior PR Account Manager will be responsible for expanding client relationships and driving business growth through strategic account management. This will involve using initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles, as well as motivating direct reports and inspiring confidence in the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Account Planning: Contribute to effective monthly forecasting, hitting income targets and having an appreciation of monthly fee earner capacity versus output.
  • Business Development: Prepare a business case and secure internal management approval for new initiatives that will increase revenue and/or efficiency.
  • Service Delivery: Maintain a consistent level of high-quality service across a portfolio of client accounts, using experience and creative thinking to evolve the account and exceed client expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to get the best results out of the relationships and drive business growth.
  • Presentations and Meetings: Attend and present at client meetings and internal meetings to aid new business development.
Key Skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to look ahead and anticipate and respond to client and account needs.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Use initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Motivate direct reports and inspire confidence in the team.
  • Communication and Presentation: Deliver a pitch presentation and conceive and manage events.
  • Business Acumen: Draft new business documents and have a strong understanding of business development principles.
Requirements

To be a successful Senior PR Account Manager, you will need to have a strong track record of driving business growth and developing client relationships. You will also need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
