About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Filton. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software solutions that meet the requirements of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase
  • Support and mentor junior software engineers to help them grow in their careers
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in a STEM subject, such as Software Engineering, IT, Computing, Physics, or Maths
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Experience with software development processes, tools, and technologies, such as UML, Java, C#, Python, and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
