Construction Site Engineer

Carmichael UK is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team on a major highways project in Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and designers to ensure design specifications and drawings are implemented in line with DMRB and SHW guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure project progress.
- Review designs and raise queries to the Section Engineer to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Operate setting out equipment, including GPS and Total station, to ensure accurate site layout.
- Contribute to the project 4-week lookahead programme to identify and mitigate potential site works clashes.
- Work with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage site works and deliver Inspection and Test Plans.
- Identify and report Non-Conformances promptly to ensure project quality and safety.
A National Highways Passport card is highly desirable for this role.
