Job Title: Senior Dietitian - Band 6

Location: Gillingham, Kent

Job Type: Full-time

Contract: 3 month minimum, likely to be extended

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Dietitian to join our team in Gillingham, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical nutrition support to patients across the surgical wards, high dependency unit, and intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake work across the surgical wards, high dependency unit, and intensive care unit, demonstrating knowledge about deteriorating patients and the nutritional impact of this.
• Part of a team covering respiratory and orthopaedics, expected to cover these areas as well.
• Extensive NHS experience required, 2 years plus.

Requirements:

Applicants should have a strong background in clinical nutrition and experience working in a hospital setting. A high level of communication and interpersonal skills is essential for this role.
