Join Our Team as a Financial Leader

GVA Search is proud to partner with a rapidly-growing FMCG business in central London, seeking a Head of Finance to drive business performance. This critical role reports directly to the Finance Director, overseeing all financial aspects of the company's day-to-day operations, including timely and accurate delivery of the monthly management accounts board pack.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Finance Director in ensuring the smooth running of the company's accounting function.
  2. Prepare the monthly management accounts and Board reporting pack, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  3. Collaborate with the Finance Director to develop and implement the company's financial strategy, optimizing performance and strategic position.
  4. Contribute to company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
  5. Direct and develop Accounting staff, setting SMART goals and objectives, ensuring they are motivated and developed to successfully carry out their responsibilities.
  6. Develop and control the company's annual operating budget, ensuring all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations are complied with.
  7. Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
  8. Ensure company financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
  9. Ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.
  10. Develop and maintain necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
  11. Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
