Company Overview:
A reputable regional contractor specializing in development projects across southern counties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, repairing, or stripping old finishes.
- Mix, match, and apply paints and finishes to a variety of surfaces.
- Efficiently handle planning and preparation tasks.
- Protect surrounding areas with coverings to maintain cleanliness.
- Rearrange furniture and equipment as needed to access all areas of the project.
- Use tape to mask off areas as required.
- Ensure cleanup of materials and restoration of fixtures upon project completion.
Candidate Profile:
- Possession of personal tools is essential.
- NVQ qualification in a relevant area is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with site health and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate design-related challenges.
- A strong work ethic and reliability.
- Approachable demeanor and capability to serve as a point of contact in independent roles.
Essential Qualifications:
- A valid CSCS card is a must.
- At least 1 year of experience in Painting & Decorating.
