Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer (EV)

At EVera Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer to join our client's team at their state-of-the-art production facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the simulation, integration, and validation of HV Battery systems at component, pack, and vehicle level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct software tests on component, rig, and vehicles to validate different functionalities, adhering to quality processes such as 8D and Ishikawa.
  • Develop plant models for cells, contactors, sensors, and other components of the battery systems.
  • Lead the validation process, analyze and debug battery issues, and track reported issues to ensure adequate validation.
  • Develop and coordinate test plans to ensure the BMS is fully validated by the time certification is required.
Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related field.
  • Prior experience in battery component design, such as busbars and connectors.
  • Hands-on experience working with vehicle LV and HV systems.
  • Proficiency in communication toolsets like VECTOR (CANalyzer/CANoe) or Bosh (ETAS/INCA).
  • Advanced understanding of Battery Systems and BMS, including state flow, diagnostic, fault thresholds, and software flashing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize multiple inputs into a succinct summary.
