Job Summary:

DCV Technologies is seeking an experienced Manual Miller to join our manufacturing team in Surrey. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our XYZ manual machines to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting, and operating XYZ Mills to produce components to company quality standards.
  • Carrying out programming and editing functions to provide high-quality components to drawing specifications.
  • Responsibility of day-to-day maintenance of machines and working area.
  • Adherence to health and safety policies.
  • Carrying out inspection, including first-off inspection, using gauges and measuring instruments.
  • Assisting in the cleaning, organisation, and maintenance of the shop floor work environment.
  • Promoting and providing constant input into continuous improvement.
  • Promoting a team environment.
  • Complying with all policies, specifications, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience of setting, editing, and operating XYZ manual machines.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment.
