Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Subsea Engineer to join our team at Kintec Global Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for subsea structure and tie-in systems across all project phases, including Conceptual Study, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Tender and Contract package preparation.
  • Project Oversight: Follow up on large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPCI) contracts for offshore projects, ensuring the design of subsea structures and tie-in systems meets project requirements, codes, standards, and best practices while minimizing costs and risks.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee supplier call for tender and selection, including qualifications, clarifications, and recommendations.
  • Design Review: Review and approve FEED, Tender, and Detailed Engineering performed by contractors.
  • Project Representation: Serve as Company Representative for subsea structure and tie-in systems during fabrication, testing, interfacing, packing, load-out, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Expertise Development: Develop the company's expertise and know-how for subsea structure and tie-in systems.
  • Team Management: Manage subsea structure and tie-in systems activities within the Subsea Systems department.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues within the Subsea Systems department and other disciplines during project execution.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with design standards, internal company standards, and Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in various project phases, including Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering, for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
