Job Description

Are you a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a reputable company in the Somerset region? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Domestic Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer or Domestic Gas Installation Engineer.

As a Domestic Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive works to various sites, including privately owned domestic properties, schools, and care homes. You will be working with a regional Plumbing and Heating business that offers a range of services, including service and maintenance, installation, and repair of domestic boilers and plumbing systems.

As a Domestic Gas Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for working with high-end builders to install boilers and plumbing systems in new properties. You will have the opportunity to work on high-value projects, including properties worth over £1 million.

This role is based on a 40-hour week with overtime available. You will be required to have ACS qualifications and relevant experience in service, breakdown, and repairs or installation of domestic boilers and plumbing systems. A driving license is also required, as you will be working in a mobile role. A van and fuel card will be provided by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive works to various sites
  • Install, service, and maintain domestic boilers and plumbing systems
  • Work with high-end builders to install boilers and plumbing systems in new properties
  • Perform service and maintenance work on domestic properties, schools, and care homes

Requirements:

  • ACS qualifications
  • Relevant experience in service, breakdown, and repairs or installation of domestic boilers and plumbing systems
  • Driving license
  • 1 year of experience in plumbing
  • 2 years of experience in boiler installation and service and maintenance
