Job Summary:
Eaton Syalon Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and driving business growth through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including employee communications, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Partner with the management team to develop and implement recruitment strategies, manage the hiring process, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- HR Systems and Practices: Continuously improve HR systems and practices, reviewing and updating company policies as needed, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Performance Management: Coordinate staff appraisals, reviews, and probation meetings, and supervise absence management cases and performance management processes.
- Learning and Development: Support learning and development efforts, including working with external training providers to coordinate course attendance and developing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- HR Administration: Maintain and update HR information systems, including administration around starter and leaver information, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Employee Engagement: Influence positive employee relations across the business, maintaining and improving business output requirements, and ensuring increased employee engagement.
- Strategic HR Initiatives: Partner with the leadership team on strategic HR initiatives and projects, driving business growth through effective HR practices.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in HR, preferably in a standalone or small team environment, with a strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
