Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end architecture, development, and deployment of products and solutions for our derivatives trading platform utilizing a microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with the product management team to refine existing models or innovate new products and algorithms.
  • Engage in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Create a system that supports rapid deployment with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery practices.
  • Diagnose issues within back-end systems and implement effective solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve cross-layer challenges.
  • Partner with the security team to establish and maintain a high-security, scalable infrastructure and back-end services.
  • Contribute to the management of all code and documentation related to function implementation.
  • Work in tandem with the DevOps team to continually enhance and upgrade the technology stack.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java programming.
  • Understanding of market risk principles.
  • Experience in an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange developing trading applications in Equity, FX, or Derivative products, including traditional or cryptocurrency markets, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology and experience in automated testing.
  • Strong commitment to process improvement, meticulous attention to detail, and a high level of accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Open-minded and eager to embrace new challenges and learning opportunities.
  • Able to perform under pressure, quick to learn, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic industry.
  • Prior experience in OTC RFQ workflow or structural product system development is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with derivative products is a plus.
