Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of interactive lessons and activities, working with learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching team in delivering high-quality educational programs for students with special needs
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in special education

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young adults with special needs
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
