Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Navartis. As a key member of our rail division, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profit targets by providing technical expertise and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and qualify leads within Salesforce, ensuring accurate quotes with all necessary documentation are provided in a timely manner.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our company products and efficiently communicate their benefits and advantages to potential customers through product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Support the sector manager by participating in regular meetings to discuss opportunities, projects, and needs, as well as managing stock levels to ensure optimal delivery of projects for customers.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct guidelines are specified for any orders made and collaborate with design agencies and other areas to present the benefits of our products.
  • Work with contractors and subcontractors during product installation, assisting with technical solutions when required and ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within the rail sector is a requirement, with relevant technical product knowledge and expertise being advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical sales, or other related area.
  • Ability to produce a detailed Bill of Quantities to ensure accurate quoting.
  • Flexible approach to work, with willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
  • Exposure to and ability to interpret technical specs and drawings.
  • Proficient IT skills, specifically with use of CRM systems in a similar capacity.
