Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Driver to join our team at Jewson, a leading supplier of building materials. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely delivering building materials to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver building materials to customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload materials from vehicles, using manual handling equipment as necessary
• Operate a vehicle-mounted crane to lift and move heavy materials
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve delivery targets
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and report any defects or issues promptly

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the building materials industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
