About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Chef De Partie at Llangoed Hall, a beautifully elegant and historic country house hotel in the heart of the Welsh countryside.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, adhering to health and safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
- Lead a section of the kitchen area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor and control wastage and portion sizes to achieve departmental budgets.
- Prepare and serve food as specified by the Head Chef.
- Attend departmental and training meetings as required.
- Comply with all health and safety legislation and maintain a smart and professional appearance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be keen to learn, have a real interest in hospitality, and possess good communication skills. You should be a team player and reliable, with a willingness to develop your skills and experience.
Training and Development
We offer a Professional Cookery level 2 qualification through our training provider, Cambrian Training Company Ltd. If you are interested in doing an apprenticeship through the medium of Welsh or bilingually, please contact the training provider to find out if it is available.
