Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our connected car services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cybersecurity Reporting: Develop and present progress reports on cybersecurity topics to management and vehicle milestone meetings.
  • Team Development: Assess future capability needs and contribute to team building efforts by identifying required personnel.
  • Legal & Compliance: Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity objectives.
  • Supplier Communication: Manage communication with suppliers to obtain necessary cybersecurity-related information.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of cybersecurity-related issues during the development process.
  • Requirement Management: Ensure cybersecurity requirements are requested and implemented at the appropriate stages of system development.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in iOS, Android, and Cloud technologies and assess their cybersecurity implications.
  • Cybersecurity Processes: Establish and manage the implementation plan for cybersecurity, including:
  1. Cybersecurity Interface Agreement
  2. Threat Assessment and Remediation Analysis (TARA)
  3. Risk Analysis Results
  4. Progress Reports
  5. CSMS-related documents

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:
  1. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS).
Nice to Have:
  1. Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture.
  2. Business-level Japanese communication skills.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  4. Ability to travel for business (up to two-week trips).

Working Hours & Pay:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week. Pay: £30.78 per hour
