About the Role:
Castlefield Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Greater Manchester. This is a 3-6 month temporary contract outside IR35, offering full remote working.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple projects and ensure overall quality, costs, and issue resolution, prioritizing effective delivery.
- Communicate project scope, impact, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring informed employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- Incorporate third-party plans into designated project phases.
- Maintain Business As Usual (BAU) arrangements until transition to new working methods.
- Manage reporting requirements through various methods, including Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Identify short-term and long-term funding options, exploring methods and alternatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a Prince 2 Practitioner/Professional certification or equivalent.
- Experience in managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven risk assessment and management skills within a project environment.
- Experience in managing complex budgets with varied reporting requirements.
