Secondary Cover Supervisor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in Northampton. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the school and its pupils, ensuring a smooth learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide general support to the school and its pupils
- Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
- Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behaviour
- Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behaviour is in line with school expectations
- Be motivated and ambitious with a goal to support children to reach their full potential
- Attend weekly CPD sessions within school training programme
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience within a secondary school setting
- A passion for supporting students to learn and develop
- Experience as a cover supervisor is desirable, however experienced teaching assistants are encouraged to apply
