Job Description

A leading media solutions company, Christy Media Solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in broadcast workflows and technologies, with experience in live studio or outside broadcast environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of broadcast systems and equipment, providing technical support to staff, resolving technical issues, and troubleshooting as quickly and efficiently as possible. They will have the opportunity to work on traditional broadcast systems, such as cameras, intercom, and audio mixers, as well as new IP and cloud-based technologies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to staff and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced live broadcast environment
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast systems and equipment
  • Working on traditional broadcast systems, including cameras, intercom, and audio mixers
  • Supporting technology in an IP networking environment with NDI, Dante, and cloud-based systems
  • Documenting incidents, resolutions, and workflows
  • Liaising closely with vendors and users

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of broadcast workflows and technologies, with experience in live studio or outside broadcast environments. They will also have good general IT and networking skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure and work collaboratively as part of a wider team.

This is a shift-based role, requiring flexibility to work on a rotational basis, including early starts and late finishes.
