Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively work across the Council in implementing key design principles of prevention and reduction of demand through customer/community enabling automation of processes improved access to services and information for customers earliest possible resolution of customer enquiries and a streamlined & efficient approach with common technology processes and roles.
  • Support operational leads to develop end-to-end process reviews and redesign processes that lead to easier customer journeys; utilise technology to allow residents to self-serve; capture data that will help us improve services further; and drive out demonstrable and measurable efficiencies.
  • Critical to these end-to-end reviews will be to model and promote a One Council view ensuring that dependencies with other functions/processes are recognised.
Essential Experience Required
  • Experience of working collaboratively with Senior Management politicians and other key stakeholders evidencing credibility and impact as a leader is essential.
  • Experience with producing business requirement documentation including workflow diagrams user cases and user stories end-to-end process reviews using value stream mapping (VSM) or business process reengineering (BPR)
Essential Qualification Required
  • Qualified in Project Management (such as APMP or Prince2 or P3O or MSP) or Business Analysis or be able to evidence more than 3 years experience in complex organisation(s) is essential.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience is desirable.
Additional Information
  • Working hours: 37 hours per week.
  • The role is hybrid. The worker will be expected to come into the Slough offices 2 to 3 times a week.
