Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 2 HGV in a safe and efficient manner
  • Transport goods over local or long-distance routes, adhering to delivery schedules
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
  • Plan routes to optimize delivery efficiency
  • Unload and deliver goods using a sack truck, with some materials requiring manual handling
  • Comply with all relevant truck driving rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • 6+ Months Class 2 HGV CAT C entitlement
  • Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
  • No more than 6 points for minor offenses, excluding certain categories
  • Excellent customer service skills, as interactions with customers will occur at the point of delivery

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.75
  • A 40-hour workweek with a 5AM-6AM start time
