The Role

We're seeking a skilled Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you'll be responsible for preparing guest rooms, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring the hotel's facilities are always immaculate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare guest rooms for arrival, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized linen cupboard, adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
  • Assist with laundry duties, ensuring all linens and uniforms are clean and pressed
  • Follow established procedures for signing keys in and out, and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
