Key Responsibilities of a Lead Engineering Supervisor:

  • Guide the Shift Engineering team to ensure exceptional service delivery and value for our clients through prompt responses and effective communication.
  • Maintain engineering standards in compliance with all legal regulations and ensure adherence to factory standards and procedures (GMP, HSE, and Process, etc.).
  • Collaborate with various departmental streams through meetings to identify issues and develop actionable plans for resolution.
  • Drive the completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks according to established schedules.
  • Ensure all reports are produced in a timely and professional manner.
  • Guarantee that all storage and workshop areas are prepared for audits.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and monitor these projects in terms of delivery, timelines, and costs.
  • Assist the team in identifying root causes and designing solutions to prevent recurring issues using lean methodologies.
  • Empower teams to achieve departmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
Essential Skills for a Lead Engineering Supervisor:

  • Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is essential.
  • Proficient in Fault Finding with PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley).
  • Experience in Food or Packaging sectors is advantageous.
