We are seeking a skilled Crane Maintenance Engineer to join our team at RHC Lifting Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. A good understanding of three-phase control systems, medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes is essential.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work independently, and has excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is also required.

As a Crane Maintenance Engineer with RHC Lifting Limited, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the installation and servicing of lifting equipment. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

We offer a competitive salary, company van, 25 days holiday, company uniform, and PPE. Standard hours for the role are 40 per week, with opportunities for overtime and participation in the on-call rota for reactive breakdowns.

Salary will be dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
  • Attend breakdowns and perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
  • Install and service lifting equipment
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces

Requirements:

  • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience in three-phase control systems, medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Driving Licence (required)
