Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 driver to join our team at Ward Recycling, a leading waste management and recycling company.

About the Role:

This permanent position involves driving a range of HGVs, including artics, roll on roll off wagons, and skip wagons, to transport materials from customers to our processing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with planners and follow daily schedules
  • Liaise with customers and clients on site, maintaining good relationships
  • Conduct thorough prestart vehicle checks
  • Report any vehicle defects
  • Follow company Safe Operating Procedures
  • Take care of your vehicle
  • Complete daily checks and paperwork
Requirements:
  • Class 1 Licence
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Tachograph/digital smart card operation
