As a SEN Instructor, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere for learners with diverse needs. You will partner closely with a team of professionals, including support staff, to implement customized educational programs tailored to the individual requirements of each student. Your dedication to cultivating a positive learning environment will empower students to reach their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Deliver captivating lessons that are modified to accommodate the varying abilities of students.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and external organizations to ensure optimal outcomes for each child.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing consistent feedback and adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Create a secure, supportive, and inclusive classroom setting that encourages student engagement and confidence.
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a background in SEN education.
- Have a solid understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs and strategies to address them.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching approach.
- Experience with a variety of SEN conditions, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties, is highly desirable.
