Job Title: General Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Assistant to join our team at Simply Gym. As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the gym.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the gym facilities, including equipment and common areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to member queries and concerns.
  • Record cleaning duties and tasks on relevant checklists to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Adhere to COSHH regulations, ensuring the correct use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Work part-time hours, mainly evenings, and adhere to national minimum wage guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Hardworking individual with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate a passion for exceeding expectations and providing excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multitask and work unsupervised.
  • Effective communication skills and approachability to members and other staff.
