Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager for a subsidiary within a leading energy company who are committed to providing renewable solutions and transitioning to a low carbon infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing anaerobic digestion sites within the region, supplying eco-friendly energy and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete periodic internal audits to drive compliance and continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance to sites to ensure they remain fully RHI, FiT and ISCC compliant
  • Work with regulatory bodies, such as Ofgem, to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement sustainability strategies
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and provide support

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in working with regulatory bodies (preferably Ofgem)
  • A degree-level education in a science-related subject (preferable) or demonstrable experience gained from an engineering or industrial background
  • Full clean driving license
