As a Senior Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be integral to our mission of delivering exceptional care to young individuals navigating their recovery journey. Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will design tailored treatment plans that reflect the distinct needs of each patient, fostering an atmosphere conducive to healing and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate referrals and determine suitability for admission
- Conduct comprehensive admission evaluations and formulate effective management strategies
- Perform risk assessments and oversee ongoing patient reviews
- Provide specialized psychological interventions based on individual assessments
- Monitor physical health and liaise with referring professionals
- Lead CPA review meetings
- Serve as the Responsible Clinician for young patients under relevant mental health legislation
Qualifications:
- Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with an active practice license
- Experience in CAMHS eating disorders is preferred
