Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join our busy Parts Department at Renault Enfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-quality service to our workshop's service and maintenance technicians, as well as our retail parts customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and order parts for vehicle repairs, processing special orders and reporting on lead times.
- Notify the workshop controller of the arrival of parts, process invoices and credit notes, and carry out administrative tasks related to stock movement.
- Check goods in and move parts to the correct locations in our on-site warehouse, and secure and label return parts in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- Perform health and safety housekeeping, maintain stock security, and attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive parts advisor, autoparts consultant, TPS logistics operative, or parts counter advisor at a franchised main dealer, manufacturer-owned group, motor factor, independent parts supplier, or national automotive parts and accessories retailer.
- Experience with automotive parts systems such as CDK Drive, Autoline, Kerridge, and Pinnacle is highly desirable.
- Dealership experience in an automotive parts department serving a large team of vehicle technicians is essential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with 1-hour lunch break, plus alternate Saturday mornings 8:30am to 12:30pm.
Benefits:
- Basic salary of £32,532 per annum, comprising £30,500 pa for weekday work and £2,032 pa for Saturday morning overtime.
- Monthly bonus allowing earnings up to or in excess of £33,416 per annum.
