Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Reed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a key role in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records, ensuring timely payment and resolving any discrepancies.
- Process invoices, manage queries, and take a proactive approach to managing and collecting debts.
- Prepare and reconcile supplier payment runs, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Enter new suppliers onto our internal system and Sage 50, ensuring seamless integration.
- Investigate and resolve queries related to non-payment of invoices, providing excellent customer service.
- Process and reconcile invoices, manage customer credit limits and insurance limits, and communicate with the insurer and customer.
- Complete CIS Returns and send statements to subcontractors, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and process them on Sage 50 and the internal system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Previous experience with Sage 50 and excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail with the ability to reconcile complex accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Accurate, efficient, and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Professional and approachable with excellent communication skills, providing exceptional customer service.
