Job Summary:

MW Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Non-Marine Technician to join their team. As a key member of the Non-Marine team, you will provide technical support to the broking team and administer clients' insurance documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with the non-marine broking team to understand clients' insurance requirements and translate this into slip detail.
  • Prepare slips and endorsements that meet current market requirements on the Xchanging Brokasure Enterprise system, including production of Tax Schedules on the TMF system.
  • Load and track slips and endorsements to the PPL System.
  • Process transactions on the Brokasure Enterprise system and produce broker insurance documents, contract endorsement documents, invoices, and premium adjustments, and submit to Xchanging on a timely basis using Accounting and Settlement.
  • Monitor the timeliness of the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty is achieved and FCA deadlines are adhered to.
  • Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of clients' insurance needs.
  • Review formal documents to be sent to clients.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the broking team and provide a lead on regulatory changes, licensing, and market developments.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar technical role.
  • Knowledge across Non-Marine business.
  • Experience with Multinational Accounts.
  • Proficiency in Brokasure and/or PPL is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience producing MRC Slips.
