Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RE teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As an RE teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons to students, adhering to curriculum guidelines and promoting academic excellence.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement, participation, and social growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, enhancing student outcomes and school performance.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development, identifying and addressing individual learning needs to ensure every student succeeds.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior, providing valuable insights for teacher development and school improvement.
  • Attend meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills, knowledge, and best practices, staying up-to-date with industry trends and educational innovations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree and teaching qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and pedagogy.
  • Proven experience teaching RE within a primary or secondary school setting, showcasing expertise in curriculum design and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement, participation, and social growth.
