R S D TECHNOLOGY LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Tank Inspector - Assurance and Control Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product losses for all movements of crude oil and petroleum products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and mitigate excessive product losses through rigorous inspection and measurement practices.
- Ensure compliance with API guidelines and company inspection procedures, with thorough documentation of events.
- Develop and maintain a positive perception of the company's commitment to environmental, public welfare, and profit control.
- Verify the use of proper equipment and measuring devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare and submit detailed field reports outlining activities related to product movements.
- Evaluate the performance of inspection companies and their inspectors, providing feedback for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with vessel officers and shore representatives to determine additional gauging or testing requirements.
- Reduce ROB volumes through effective crude oil washing and stripping at discharge ports.
- Verify and confirm all volumes with independent inspectors.
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of transportation, including testing, inspection procedures, and marine operations related to oil transfer.
- Ability to read and interpret company policies, regulatory guidelines, and other work-related documentation.
- Thorough understanding of industry safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information, results, and communications.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide thorough, efficient, and effective support to individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a timely manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve challenging objectives.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
