Apparel Technologist

Job Summary

Success Talent is seeking a highly skilled Garment Technologist to join our team as a Product Development Specialist. As a key member of our Product department, you will work closely with our Designers and Garment Technologists to develop and implement new product lines for our mens and womenswear collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize daily workload to ensure timely completion of product development projects.
• Liaise with suppliers in the Far East to negotiate and manage product development and sourcing.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading.
• Collaborate with Designers to create and develop designs from initial spec through all sample development stages.
• Approve supplier submissions and test reports to ensure quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mens and womens lifestyle products, with a strong understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex product development issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
