Are you an adaptable and proficient engineer with electrical certifications seeking an engaging position in facilities maintenance? PRS is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team in a mobile capacity, covering Swindon and the nearby regions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute a variety of maintenance activities, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and general building services across diverse locations.
  • Address reactive maintenance requests, efficiently diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize operational downtime.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to guarantee all systems function at peak performance.
  • Conduct electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Carry out general building maintenance duties, including plumbing, HVAC upkeep, and fabric repairs.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, completing risk assessments and method statements as necessary.
  • Maintain precise records of all completed work, utilizing company systems to document tasks and updates.
  • Engage with clients on-site, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the office team and fellow engineers to optimize resource use and ensure timely task completion.

Requirements:

Electrical Qualifications:
Must possess relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within the facilities maintenance sector.

Technical Skills:
Comprehensive technical knowledge across various building services, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Mobile Role:
Willingness to undertake a mobile role, traveling across Swindon and surrounding areas.

Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and manage your own workload.

Driving License:
A full, clean driving license is essential.
