Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Streatham. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and driving the success of our practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering commercial performance through effective allocation of clinical activity, as well as experience in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague. You will be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS and have a passion for general first opinion practice.

As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will work closely with the Practice Manager to maximise commercial performance and focus on key measures. You will also be responsible for pro-actively supporting and sharing clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per year, as well as a range of benefits including private medical insurance, health cash plan, life assurance, and access to 24-hour counselling. You will also receive 33 days' annual leave (rising to 38 with length of service) and an additional 'Day for You' to use as you wish.

Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a new MyLab5 ultrasound machine, digital and dental x-ray, and a spacious prep room and nice ops theatre. We also have access to CT Imaging and out of hour care through our nearby Camberwell hospital.
