Job Summary:
Broadstone Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for producing consolidated group external reporting and working closely with divisional finance teams and external auditors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of half and full year statutory accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for divisional finance teams, providing guidance on accounting policies and procedures.
- Own key P&L and balance sheet accounts, utilizing technical accounting knowledge to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with the group reporting manager and head of reporting to maintain a strong financial control environment.
- Business partner with divisional finance teams, communicating regularly and providing guidance on accounting policies and procedures.
- Work with IT teams to improve and streamline reporting processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Practice-trained qualified accountant (ACA / CA) with experience in large PLC audits.
- Exposure to consolidated group accounts and a strong understanding of technical accounting principles.
