Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth, event-driven equity analysis within the US and EMEA developed markets, focusing on M&A activities, corporate actions, special situations, and index-related events.
  • Perform fundamental research on dividend derivative instruments, integrating findings into a semi-systematic trading model.
  • Assist in the development of market monitoring tools to identify, analyze, and interpret events relevant to an arbitrage strategy.
  • Collaborate with sell-side brokers and analysts to gather supplementary insights that enhance existing data feeds.
  • Provide guidance on optimal trade execution strategies and collaborate with the broader team to implement these strategies effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field, Economics, or Finance.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with buy-side exposure.
  • Experience in risk-arbitrage strategies, particularly those focused on special situations, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Python is considered an advantage.
