Principal Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Developer to join our R&D Concept Development team at IC Resources. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, full stack engineering, and front-end design of software-related projects.

Your primary focus will be on taking ownership of projects from idea generation to system demonstration in the lab and in the field. This will involve working closely with a multi-disciplinary internal engineering team and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and development experience with the MERN stack
  • Design experience with C#, Java, or Python for GUIs
  • Familiarity with concept design and prototype development
  • Ability to analyze solutions and make prototype design trade-offs

Desirable skills include experience with wireless, IoT, or connected device projects, as well as design experience for geographical mapping and RF/analogue displays.

Please note that due to the nature of the work, you must have current SC clearance or be eligible. This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.
