Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support patients with personal care needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Undertake clinical observations, documenting patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Engage in general social interaction with patients, providing emotional support and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Support patients with meals, including preparation and service, and assist with personal care tasks.
  • Contribute to the wider team with domestic and housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Meet and greet patients, families, and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Carry out and support with other duties as required, working collaboratively with trained and experienced staff.
  • Report any concerns or issues to the manager in charge, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Document support and care on computer notes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Make and receive telephone calls, responding to patient and staff queries in a professional and courteous manner.
