Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe in King's Lynn. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all products are produced and packaged to the highest standard and according to customer specifications.
  • Handle raw meat and ready-to-eat products in a chilled environment, adhering to strict food safety and handling procedures.
  • Perform manual handling tasks and work on production lines to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Practical and manual handling skills.
  • Basic health and safety and food safety awareness.
  • Positive thinking and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently and learn new skills quickly.
  • A hands-on approach to solving issues.
