Job Summary:
Taylorollinson Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Next Generation Sequencing Scientist to join our team and support the development of genetic-based medicine solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as technical lead on R&D projects for the improvement and development of assays, ensuring compliance with ISO13485, ISO9001, and ISO27001 standards.
- Oversee project delivery, outlining practical resources, delivery criteria, and milestones, and lead the project team, providing hands-on laboratory support where needed.
- Deliver project results and present data through internal and external meetings, ensuring quality and H&S compliance throughout research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and commercialization, leveraging expertise in commercial product development with IVD molecular biology products.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies, ensuring timely delivery of projects and meeting business objectives.
Requirements:
- Industry experience in commercial product development with IVD molecular biology products.
- Proven experience leading commercial R&D projects, outlining project scope and deliverables.
- Educated to PhD in Genomics/Molecular Biology (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working to ISO13485 and ISO 9001.
- Deep knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing.
- Prior supervisor or project management experience would be beneficial.
