We are seeking a skilled Wood CNC Operator to join our team at Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd. As a Wood CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality wood products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure machine maintenance is completed as instructed to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Verify all programs are correct before commencing work to prevent errors and ensure quality.
  • Inspect call-up sheets and drawings before CNC operation to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Set cutters correctly before running a program to ensure accurate cuts and minimize waste.
  • Inspect panels before CNC operation for marks and scratches to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work flexible hours to meet the company's needs and contribute to the team's success.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Production Manager to support the team's goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience in factory work in a similar industry, preferably with CNC machine operation.
  • Desirable: experience operating CNC machines specifically for wood production.
