About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Banking and Finance Solicitor to join our team at Mills & Reeve. As a key member of our Banking and Finance team, you will work closely with our corporate banking partners to advise clients on all aspects of finance and security issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise banks, lenders, fund managers, and other corporate and institutional clients on finance and security issues, including asset-based lending, leveraged finance, corporate lending, and real estate finance.
  • Support the corporate team on funding issues in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial and real estate departments.
  • Draft and prepare various documents required within transaction processes.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients, and assist with marketing to new and existing clients.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a firm renowned for banking and finance work.
  • Substantial or wholly gained experience working in the banking and finance sector.
  • Excellent technical skills, written English, and time and file management skills.

  • Ability to build good working relationships with clients and potential clients.
