About the Role:

Oval Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pensions Administrator to join our expanding Pension Administration Team. As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical pension administration services to a portfolio of clients, calculating and making payments of scheme benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical pension administration services to clients, ensuring accurate and timely calculations and payments of scheme benefits.
  • Train and mentor new members of the team, helping them develop their knowledge and understanding of pension administration.
  • Check and authorize the work of other team members, ensuring compliance with benefit structures, trust deeds, and pensions legislation.
  • Support the Administration Manager in ensuring the department meets deadlines and legislative requirements.
  • Undertake project management work, handling queries from HMRC and DWP, and liaising with clients, scheme actuaries, and other third parties.
  • Ensure compliance checking is maintained, and the team works to legislative requirements.
  • Answer technical queries from members by phone, email, and letter.
