Job Overview:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice at Kids Love Nature's Wickham setting.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team in a fantastic setting. As a Childcare Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Treat each child as a unique individual, respecting their needs and abilities.
  • Support new children in settling into the environment as appropriate.
  • Carry out observations, assessments, and planning for own key children and all children in the nursery, including statutory assessment requirements.
  • Plan and present activities to children based on their interests and developmental needs.
  • Support children to find and engage in constructive activity.
  • Assist with daily routines, including changing nappies and clothing as needed.
  • Contribute to the completion of records, such as accident and incident forms.
  • Discuss any concerns about a child's welfare or development with the nursery management.

Requirements:

  • A level 2 in Childcare is desired but not essential.
  • GCSE Grades A*-C in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Able to gain a clear DBS.

Working Hours:

  • Approximately 36 hours per week with shifts patterns to be discussed.
