Job Description

Innova Solutions International is seeking a highly skilled Emissions Certification Specialist to join our team in the automotive manufacturing sector. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's products meet the necessary emissions standards for global sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clear explanations of engine emissions certification requirements, associated legal obligations, and business processes.
  • Coach business areas on certification requirements to ensure timely execution of certification work streams.
  • Lead the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request to emissions label implementation.
  • Maintain owned emissions certificates and associated labels throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Establish and foster collaborative relationships with global governmental agency representatives.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in obtaining engine emissions certification.
  • Proven ability to initiate and successfully lead parallel work streams to meet timing and quality targets.
  • Engineering or legal education/background.
  • Strong moral compass and passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse functional areas and remote business centers.
  • Attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate work.
  • Ability and interest in digesting regulatory materials.
  • Confident and effective communicator with the ability to articulate compliance and challenge the status quo when necessary.
