We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Trainee Construction Site Technician. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and expanding company.

About the Role

  • As a Trainee Construction Site Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians in conducting non-destructive testing on construction sites.
  • You will travel to and from sites in a company van, representing the company with excellent customer service skills.
  • Your day-to-day tasks will include investigation work using handheld tools, manual handling, and accurately recording data.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth running and completion of allocated jobs.

Requirements

  • You will need to have good English and maths skills, as well as a full UK driving licence.
  • You should be comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and able to commit to working away from home to complete jobs.
  • Great communication skills and IT skills, including a good understanding of Excel, are essential.
  • Ideally, you will have experience in a testing role, but this is not essential.
